This helps us provide the safest, most personalized experience possible for your furry family member.
One-time form: complete it once, and we keep it on file for future bookings.

We’re Riley and Kevin — passionate pet lovers offering personalized care right from our home in North Natomas. Whether it’s a weekend away or a long trip, we treat your pets like our own. No crowded kennels, no impersonal rotations — just a cozy home environment with lots of love, play, and snuggles.
We’re conveniently located in the Creekside neighborhood — about 7 minutes from Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and around 15 minutes from Midtown.
Outside of Pawsome Pet Retreat, we also own a few local Sacramento businesses, including Alleyway Bites (our street food pop-up concept) and SitSignal (our pet sitting platform that helps connect sitters and pet parents across multiple states). We love being active in the community and bringing that same care and reliability into everything we do.
How It Works
Here’s how to get started as a new client:
📝 Complete the Pet Intake Form. Tell us all about your pet, their routine, and their first stay dates.
📅 We schedule a Meet & Greet. This can be at Kokomo Park, at our home (when appropriate), or via FaceTime.
💬 We review everything together. We’ll go over feeding, meds, behavior, and answer any questions.
✅ Pay your 50% deposit. Once the deposit is paid at the Meet & Greet, your booking is secured.

Meet & Greet
All new pets are required to complete a Meet & Greet before their first stay. This is our chance to:
Get to know your pet’s personality, routine, and preferences
Review feeding, medication, and any special instructions
Answer any questions you have about their stay
Make sure we’re a great fit for your pet’s needs

Holiday rates apply to the first pet in your booking for the full duration of any stay that includes the following dates:

Presidents' Day: Feb 14–17, 2025
Memorial Day: May 23–26, 2025
Juneteenth: Jun 19–22, 2025
4th of July: Jul 4–6, 2025
Labor Day: Aug 29–Sep 1, 2025
Thanksgiving: Nov 27–30, 2025
Christmas & New Year: Dec 24, 2025 – Jan 1, 2026

⏰ Extended Care / Late Pickup Policy
Extended Care is an additional fee that applies when a pet’s pickup time is significantly later than their original drop-off time. This ensures your sitter is fairly compensated for providing extra hours of care on the final day.
Extended Care may apply if your pickup time is more than 2 hours later than your drop-off time.
More than 2 hours, up to 8 hours: +50% of the nightly rate (per pet)
More than 8 additional hours: +100% of the nightly rate (per pet)
This helps cover additional supervision, potty breaks, feedings, and extended time in our care.
